MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY IN PAINTED POST!

My daughter first started taking taekwondo with Instructor Clark and Master Childs just before her fourth birthday. I signed her up in hopes of boosting her self-confidence. After ten years of training, she has gained not only confidence but poise, respect, strength, integrity and a myriad of other skills that allow her to be successful in taekwondo, academics, and life. I attribute much of the amazing young person she is growing into, to the lessons she has learned from taekwondo. She is currently training with Instructor Clark to compete as a 1st Degree Black Belt at the AAU Taekwondo Nationals in Fort Lauderdale. The thing I didn’t expect when we signed up all those years ago, was that the community of other families, instructors and staff at Crystal City Martial Arts would grow to be family to us. They have helped us celebrate birthdays, special events, 13-minute-mile-and-a-halfs, and black belt promotions. And we have suffered failed testing attempts, injuries, setbacks, and the heartaches of life with them by our side. During the past eight years, the values of respect, hard work, perseverance, and determination have been taught and reinforced to my boys by the instructors.
